CM Sukhu Applauds Red Cross, Reviews State Security & Environmental Initiatives

In a heartfelt tribute to humanitarian efforts, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu marked World Red Cross Day by meeting children and Red Cross volunteers. Praising their tireless dedication, he contributed to the Red Cross fund and encouraged public generosity. Sukhu's admiration extended to all volunteers worldwide who deliver aid amid crises.
The gathering was attended by notable figures including Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania and Secretary Rakesh Kanwar. Meanwhile, CM Sukhu reflected on the Indian Armed Forces' recent triumph in Operation Sindoor, hailing the courage and professionalism of those involved. He expressed national pride in their unwavering commitment.
Following this, the Chief Minister conducted a thorough review of the state's security measures, transport, communication, and essential services, issuing directives to enhance efficiency. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, were present at the meeting. Additionally, Colonel Deepak Kumar briefed CM Sukhu on environmental initiatives by the 133 Eco Task Force.
