In an emphatic response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, India initiated 'Operation Sindoor', targeting key terror camps linked to groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The strikes, executed by India's armed forces, aimed at nine crucial terror camps—four located inside Pakistan and five in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Expressing solidarity with the operation, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav announced broad political support for the armed forces' actions. Yadav asserted that the entire nation, regardless of party affiliation, stands united, entrusting the military and government with decision-making responsibilities in the fight against terrorism.
In conjunction with these military operations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a high-level meeting to assess national security preparedness and coordination. Stressing the importance of seamless communication among ministries, PM Modi directed officials to undertake comprehensive reviews to ensure continued operational readiness. The government's commitment to national security remains paramount as the nation navigates this critical juncture.
