Shiromani Akali Dal leader Daljit Singh Cheema hailed the Indian Armed Forces for their successful precision strike, termed 'Operation Sindoor,' emphasizing the operation's commendable execution. Cheema remarked on Pakistan's inability to justify its stance globally, noting ongoing misinformation and civilian targeting near the border.
Cheema expressed willingness to participate in an all-party meeting if invited, underscoring support for the Indian government and military. The Centre convened this meeting at the Parliament Annexe building on Thursday, led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, to update political parties on India's counter-terrorism measures.
The briefing highlighted precision missile strikes that dismantled nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and PoK following an April 22 terror attack. In retaliation, Pakistan attempted to target several military sites across India, but these efforts were thwarted by robust air defense systems, with evidence of the attacks being compiled.
