Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Congress leader Pawan Khera declared on Friday that 1.4 billion Indians stand firmly behind their armed forces. "The military will take appropriate actions, and the entire nation supports them," Khera stated in an interview with ANI.

He criticized Pakistan for sheltering terrorism and urged the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to reconsider financial support. "The global community must see that Pakistan remains unchanged in its behavior. It's crucial to isolate Pakistan. We urged the IMF not to fund a state that harbors terrorism," Khera emphasized.

Pakistan's reliance on international bailouts has reached new lows, reported ARY News, as the IMF prepares to inject another USD 1.1 billion into its struggling economy. Meanwhile, the Indian Army successfully countered drone attacks and ceasefire violations across the western border and the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir during the night of May 8 and 9.

The Indian military reported that Pakistani forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions. Ceasefire violations occurred across the Line of Control. The Indian Army effectively repulsed these threats and remains resolute in defending the nation's sovereignty, affirming that any hostile actions will be met with force.
