European Nations Poised for Sanctions Over Ukraine Ceasefire

As tensions escalate in Eastern Europe, European nations are primed to establish new sanctions against Russia, contingent upon the absence of a ceasefire in Ukraine by the end of Monday, according to a statement by a German government official.

Time is running out, as the deadline approaches with only 12 hours to secure a ceasefire. Should the situation remain unresolved, the European alliance is prepared to initiate a sanctions strategy aimed at Russia.
