Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a site inspection of the Maa Purnagiri Temple in Khatima on Monday. The temple, with a budget allocation of Rs 2.54 crore, is under construction at Nagla Tarai. CM Dhami urged the relevant agencies to expedite construction while also ensuring the installation of water and toilet facilities for devotees.

Aside from the temple visit, CM Dhami took time to address local grievances at the Lohia Head Camp office. On his social media account, X, he urged officials to promptly resolve these issues, reiterating his government's commitment to development and public service. Earlier, Dhami extended warm wishes for Buddha Purnima, reflecting on the teachings of Mahatma Buddha.

President Droupadi Murmu also shared her greetings on Buddha Purnima, highlighting the significance of Buddha's teachings in promoting non-violence and social justice. She called for the integration of Lord Buddha's ideals in striving towards a peaceful and harmonious Bharat. The occasion of Buddha Purnima commemorates Buddha's birth, enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana.
