Family Trio Arrested in Sewak Park Murder Case

In a significant breakthrough, the New Delhi Range unit of the Delhi Police Crime Branch has apprehended two adults and one juvenile involved in a murder case registered at the Bindapur Police Station. Faisal Hussain, 54, his wife Ruksana Khatoon, and their minor son are implicated in a violent attack that led to a man's death in Sewak Park, Uttam Nagar.
The case, which was officially filed on April 30, 2025, has charges under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Hussain and Khatoon were specifically arrested under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Their son, categorized as a Child in Conflict with the Law, appeared before the Juvenile Justice Board-VII in Dwarka following the incident.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Aditya Gautam, the incident was triggered by a dispute on April 29, 2025, between neighbors over noise complaints attributed to a video game parlour allegedly operated by the accused. This verbal clash escalated into a physical assault involving sticks and iron rods, during which Hasan's son, Osama, was gravely injured and later died. The investigation led to the family's arrest in Saket, Delhi, after a focused manhunt.
