Tragic Sunday: Multiple Road Accidents in Uttar Pradesh

On a somber Sunday, multiple road accidents unfolded across Uttar Pradesh, causing injuries and tragic fatalities. On the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, a trailer collided with a truck, resulting in minor injuries to three police recruits traveling from Lucknow to Agra. According to DP Tiwari, in-charge of Fatehabad Police Station, the injured have been identified as Robin, Sundaram, and Ranveer Singh, all from Agra.
In a separate incident on the Purvanchal Expressway in the Amethi district, five individuals lost their lives, and one sustained injuries when a vehicle transporting bodies was involved in an accident. The vehicle was en route from Lucknow to the Ghazipur-Bihar route. Police from Shukul Bazaar Police Station promptly responded, and the injured were taken to a medical facility for treatment.
In reaction to the Amethi tragedy, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his sorrow and directed officials to ensure proper medical care for the injured. Meanwhile, in Hardoi district, a wedding procession turned fatal as a car lost control, resulting in five deaths. Police were swift in their response, providing immediate medical assistance and commencing postmortem proceedings.
