Lufthansa flight LH752, bound for Hyderabad from Frankfurt, faced a bomb scare that compelled the aircraft to reverse its course under security protocols. The incident occurred on June 15 when an email threat targeting the flight was received at Hyderabad airport.
Officials quickly assembled a bomb threat assessment committee as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to evaluate the situation. An official confirmed that all measures were adhered to, ensuring passenger safety as the aircraft made its way back to Germany.
In light of these events, passengers were provided accommodations in Frankfurt before proceeding to Hyderabad. A Lufthansa spokesperson underscored the company's commitment to passenger and crew safety, highlighting this precautionary approach. A similar bomb threat earlier diverted an Air India flight, underscoring rising aviation security concerns.
