The Minister of Social Justice Empowerment & Tribal Affairs, Kento Jini, hailed the launch of the 'Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan' as a 'historic' measure to ensure full implementation of central government schemes in tribal areas.
At a state-level event, Jini noted that this campaign, orchestrated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, is a significant tribute to tribal leader Birsa Munda's 150th birth anniversary. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and emphasized inter-departmental collaboration for wider outreach.
SJETA Secretary Abu Tayeng highlighted that the 30-day initiative, part of the larger Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, aims to raise awareness about tribal rights and government programs, specifically targeting 329 villages in Arunachal Pradesh for scheme saturation.
