Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil and inaugurate infrastructure projects worth Rs. 18,700 crore during his two-day visit to Odisha, marking a significant step towards the state's development. This initiative comes as part of a broader tour that includes Bihar and a public yoga session in honor of the International Day of Yoga.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will chair a state-level event in Bhubaneswar, commemorating the first anniversary of the Odisha Government. With a focus on comprehensive development, these projects aim to enhance vital sectors such as irrigation, health, and transport, including a new railway line for Boudh district and a fleet of 100 electric buses under the CRUT system.
Highlighting future goals, PM Modi will unveil the Odisha Vision Document, outlining growth milestones for 2036 and 2047. Additionally, he will launch the 'Baraputra Aitihya Gram Yojana', a cultural initiative transforming historical birthplaces into tourist hubs, alongside honoring local women achievers to celebrate the spirit of prosperity and self-reliance.
