Odisha's Leap Forward: Majhi Applauds Modi's Vision

As the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government in Odisha marks its first anniversary, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extolled the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing major developmental strides in the state to his influence. Majhi praised Modi's appeal to investors during the January Utkarsh Odisha 2025 conclave, which brought in unprecedented investment proposals worth Rs 17 lakh crores within two days.

The Chief Minister celebrated Operation Sindoor's success, stating it underscored Modi's effective leadership against terrorism. Majhi noted the operation's symbolic importance, reflecting India's resilience and growing power, as evidenced by the nation's rise to the world's fourth-largest economy.

Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for various projects, totaling over Rs 18,600 crore in Bhubaneswar. These initiatives span essential sectors like drinking water, irrigation, health, rural infrastructure, and transportation. Additionally, the launch of the Odisha Vision Document aims to steer the state towards becoming a $500 billion economy by 2036 and meeting its aspirational $1.5 trillion target by 2047.
