Chhattisgarh's Push for Safe Return of Indians Stranded in Iran Amid Conflict

Chhattisgarh's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has committed to all necessary actions to secure the safe return of a family from the state stranded in Iran due to ongoing regional strife. Responding to reports about the family's plight, Sharma assured that the issue would be escalated both at state and central levels to ensure their repatriation.
In a statement to the press, Sharma vowed to engage with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and address the matter in Delhi for expedited action. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, confirmed the safe landing of 94 evacuated students from Iran in the national capital.
The Indian government, under 'Operation Sindhu', has orchestrated the evacuation of Indian nationals from Iran, including 110 individuals who were flown to Delhi amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh welcomed the evacuees, highlighting the government's commitment to the safety of its citizens abroad.
