Envision Energy India has announced the inclusion of its latest wind turbine, the EN 182-5.0 MW, in the revised list of model and manufacturers (RLMM). This crucial development permits the company to proceed with a substantial 2GW worth of orders, marking a significant stride in India's wind energy landscape.

The EN 182-5.0 MW platform boasts a 181-metre rotor diameter and leverages a tubular steel tower with an 89-metre blade, geared towards enhancing wind energy production by over 40% compared to its predecessor. Manufacturing facilities in Tiruchirappalli and Pune are poised to meet the growing demand by 2025's third quarter.

RPV Prasad, Managing Director of Envision Energy India, emphasized the RLMM approval as testament to their commitment to innovation and quality. The turbine is engineered specifically for Indian conditions and promises substantial benefits in areas previously limited by low wind conditions, heralding a promising future for renewable energy efforts in the region.
