Language Debate Heats Up: BJP and Rahul Gandhi Spar Over English and Regional Languages

In a recent exchange of words, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey fired back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his allegations against the Union Government on the imposition of Hindi and reluctance to promote English learning. Dubey accused Gandhi of trying to divide the nation by raising such issues, insisting instead on the importance of every regional language, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Bengali, for the Indian government.

He accused the BJP and RSS of not wanting poor children to learn English to keep them disempowered. Gandhi framed English as vital as one's mother tongue in today's world, necessary for providing equal opportunities to every child in India.
