On Saturday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering dedication to promoting yoga on a global scale. He described yoga as a 'universal' and 'timeless' practice, emphasizing its dual role as India's soft power and a bridge connecting ancient traditions with the modern world.

Surya revealed that during his multicountry diplomatic tour for Operation Sindoor, yoga garnered significant enthusiasm and interest. 'This is not just India's soft power but a living bridge connecting India with the world,' he noted, recognizing PM Modi's efforts that led over 180 countries to mark International Yoga Day.

Highlighting local support, Surya mentioned that the Bengaluru celebration of International Yoga Day saw participation from over 2,000 yoga practitioners and several international consulate representatives. He questioned the opposition's loyalties, described India's decisive foreign policy, and reiterated India's firm stance against terrorism.
