Indian energy giant NTPC has achieved a new milestone in its renewable energy portfolio with the complete operationalization of its 245 MW solar project in Rajasthan's Plot-3. As of June 22, the plant has begun supplying power commercially after the second 52 MW section became active.

This follows the initial 193 MW that began operations earlier this month on June 9, 2025. The successful commissioning of this plant marks a significant leap in NTPC's green energy initiatives.

With this addition, NTPC's standalone and group commercial capacities have reached 60,318 MW and 81,420 MW, respectively, underscoring the company's commitment to augmenting sustainable energy production across India.
