In a visit that underscores the central government's focus on eradicating Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed commanders and commandos of the Border Security Force in Raipur. This interaction follows Shah's meeting with the family of a senior police officer who was martyred by Naxalites, signaling solidarity with victims of the insurgency.

Reiterating the commitment of the Indian government to rid the nation of Naxal influence by March 31, 2026, Shah made an emotional appeal to Naxalites to lay down arms and join the mainstream. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Chhattisgarh i-Hub, Shah praised the state's surrender policy as a pathway for Naxalites to contribute to development.

The Home Minister commended Chhattisgarh's government for reviving anti-Naxal operations at a rejuvenated speed, recognizing the efforts of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma in catalyzing substantial progress. Shah also took time to engage with children from Naxal-affected regions, distributing educational materials as a gesture of hope and renewal.
