Pradhan Advocates Timely Grants Release and Pays Tribute to BJP Visionary

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan engaged in talks with Housing and Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday, aiming to expedite the release of 15th Finance Commission grants for Urban Local Bodies in Sambalpur and Deogarh. These funds are pivotal for crucial developmental projects, spanning infrastructure, sanitation, and urban beautification in the regions for the financial year 2024-25.
The official release from Pradhan's office emphasized the essence of these grants in bridging infrastructure gaps and enhancing public amenities. Furthermore, the Minister sought Khattar's cooperation in projects like affordable housing, PM-SVANidhi, e-bus services, and efficient waste management systems.
On the same day, Pradhan honored the 72nd death anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, praising his pioneering vision that remains a cornerstone for the BJP and the nation. Pradhan recounted Mukherjee's historic protest in 1953 against dual systems in India, leading to his entry into Jammu and Kashmir and later, the abrogation of Article 370 as a testament to Mukherjee's enduring influence.
