These brave souls united from diverse backgrounds to safeguard India's democratic framework and preserve the ideals that inspired freedom fighters." He highlighted how their unified struggle compelled the Congress government to return to democratic norms, leading to a decisive electoral defeat.

Reflecting on one of India's darkest chapters, Modi emphasized the severe repression during the Emergency when lakhs were unjustly imprisoned, media voices were silenced, and citizens were stripped of their rights. The Prime Minister reiterated his administration's dedication to uphold constitutional values and drive the vision of a developed India that uplifts the disadvantaged.
