The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has approached the High Court, filing a quash petition concerning a hit-and-run incident allegedly involving their chief, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's vehicle, which resulted in the death of a party supporter, Singayya, in Rentapalla village, Guntur district. The case has garnered widespread attention and controversy.
On Tuesday, authorities seized the vehicle to facilitate an ongoing investigation. In contrast, the YSRCP insists that the accusations are politically motivated, seeking to dismiss the charges legally. Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy has intensified his campaign against the NDA coalition government, launching a five-week initiative entitled 'Recalling Chandrababu's Manifesto,' aiming to expose unfulfilled election promises.
Addressing a party gathering, Reddy detailed strategies to highlight government inadequacies. Utilizing a QR code to draw connections between past promises and current realities, he intends to showcase the extent of alleged damage under Naidu's rule compared to potential YSRCP governance benefits. The initiative aims to educate the public about perceived governmental failures and encourage community engagement.
