Tragedy struck in Agra on Sunday when two children, aged between 10 and 12, are feared to have drowned in the Yamuna River within the Sikandra police station's jurisdiction. A group of four children went for a swim, but only two managed to escape, while the others went missing.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Agra, Vinayak Bhosale, stated that the incident occurred around 11 am. Local authorities, along with divers and rescue teams, were dispatched promptly after receiving an emergency alert. Despite efforts, the two missing children, who reportedly lacked swimming skills, remained unaccounted for.
