Delhi Minister and BJP leader Parvesh Verma paid tribute on Monday to his late father, former Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma, marking the 18th anniversary of his passing. Verma expressed the party's commitment to fulfilling his father's vision.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also honored Sahib Singh Verma, highlighting his advocacy for workers, farmers, and marginalized groups. She described his life as a testament to dedication and simplicity, from rural Delhi to the national stage.

Sahib Singh Verma's political journey, deeply rooted in the BJP and RSS, saw him serve as Delhi's Mayor and Chief Minister. He was instrumental in governance reforms and was a vocal advocate for workers' rights during his tenure as Labour Minister. He tragically passed away in a 2007 car accident.
