In a significant move towards sustainability, Gujarat-based Exxaro Tiles announced the installation of a 5MW DC solar power project at its manufacturing facility in Talod, Sabarkantha district. This development aligns the company's operations with global sustainability standards.
The solar power project is poised to reduce energy costs at the facility by 30%, promising annual savings of Rs 5.67 crore, as per the company's statement. The project demonstrates Exxaro Tiles' dual focus on cost-efficiency and environmental responsibility.
With manufacturing plants boasting an annual production capacity of 132 lakh square meters, Exxaro Tiles continues to expand its market presence across India and beyond, exporting to over 15 countries including the US and Canada.
