Eeki, an agricultural start-up, announced on Tuesday that it has secured USD 7 million in funding from Sixth Sense Ventures. The investment aims to facilitate the expansion of Eeki's farm operations across India and to bolster its research and development (R&D) activities.
This capital infusion will be used to implement aeroponic innovation nationwide, enabling Eeki to expand its farming operations rapidly and advance its Gen 3 Growing Chambers technology, the company stated.
Over the past year, Eeki has raised over USD 10 million from various investors. Amit Kumar, Eeki's co-founder, emphasized that with over 30% of their team dedicated to enhancing core technology, the recent funding will help optimize crop yields with minimal resources, positioning Eeki as a leader in nutrition and origin.
