In preparation for the upcoming Muharram and Kanwar Yatra, Moradabad has ramped up security measures, including the installation of CCTVs throughout the area. In an official statement, SP City Ranvijay Singh assured that thorough arrangements have been made, utilizing technology and conducting comprehensive meetings to ensure a peaceful passage of events.
According to Singh, key routes have been extensively prepared to accommodate the Kanwar Yatra, which begins on July 11. Devotees arriving from Haridwar and Garhmukteshwar will find the paths well-coordinated with input from the National Highways Authority of India and leaders of the involved communities. The use of technology plays a crucial role in managing the procession, with drones being deployed to oversee and facilitate the movement.
Special attention is directed towards identifying and securing dark spots, with collaborative efforts from relevant authorities to bolster safety. Technology serves as a valuable tool in preventing disruptions, with strict actions planned against any non-compliant behavior or inappropriate social media posts. The aim is to uphold a successful and respectful conduct of Muharram and Kanwar Yatra, culturally significant events that attract large gatherings of devotees.
