The second day of protests by Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) MPs unfolded just before the third day of the parliamentary session at Parliament's Makar Dwar. The focal point of the protest is the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar, orchestrated by the Election Commission (EC). Allegations have been made about potential voter disenfranchisement, prompting demands to cease the revision exercise.

Amidst raised slogans of 'Save our Democracy', leaders like Lok Sabha's Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Deputies Priyanka Gandhi and Manickam Tagore, Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Sanjay Raut, and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav spearheaded the demonstrations. Tuesday marked the initial protests at the same venue, symbolizing INDIA bloc's steadfast opposition to the SIR.

Moving beyond mere demonstrations, opposition leaders have submitted adjournment motion notices in both houses of parliament. These motions aim to prompt discussions on voter-related issues, central to the SIR. Congress figures, including MP Pramod Tiwari, have voiced claims suggesting a deliberate erasure of voter names, describing the revision exercise as a 'conspiracy'. As allegations mount, the controversy surrounding Bihar's SIR procedure appears poised to intensify in the parliamentary arena.
