Electricity utility CESC announced a notable performance in the June quarter, posting an over 4% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 404 crore, bolstered by increased income.
The net profit stood at Rs 388 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company revealed in its regulatory submission.
In the first quarter, CESC's total income saw a growth, reaching Rs 5,285 crore, while expenses were reduced to Rs 5,005 crore, compared to Rs 5,115 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter.
