Indian Army Amplifies Flood Relief Efforts Amid Relentless Rains in Madhya Pradesh
Amid ongoing heavy rains, the Indian Army has intensified flood relief operations across Madhya Pradesh. Coordinating with SDRF and civil authorities, they have rescued over 100 individuals. Despite the challenging conditions, rescue efforts in Shivpuri, Guna, and Ashoknagar continue as the region battles with severe flooding.

The Indian Army has significantly ramped up its flood relief operations in Madhya Pradesh, a region battling incessant rainfall, officials reported. Under the operational directive of MP/PMP Sub Area and Headquarters Central Command, the army is executing rapid and strategic interventions across multiple districts.
Sources from the Additional Directorate General of Public Information revealed that the army successfully carried out rescue operations in Shivpuri, Guna, and Ashoknagar, saving over 100 lives. The operations are conducted in collaboration with the State and National Disaster Response Forces and local administration, utilizing three flood relief columns and medical teams on the ground.
Despite the adverse conditions, Indian Army spokespersons reaffirmed their dedication to ongoing rescue operations. In a related development, authorities confirmed two fatalities while local police, led by Guna SP Ankit Soni, have managed to rescue approximately 150 individuals amidst persistent downpours. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the area.
