Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Embarks on Sweeping Swachata Abhiyan

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta initiated the Swachata Abhiyan in the national capital on Friday, embarking on a mission to improve the conditions of government offices. Launching the campaign at the Women and Child Development Office, ISBT Kashmere Gate, she didn't hesitate to take up a broomstick herself, cleaning the office and removing piles of scrap and E-waste.
During her inspection of the dilapidated office, plagued by water leaks and outdated furniture, CM Gupta criticized the previous government under former CM Arvind Kejriwal for neglecting office maintenance while focusing on lavish personal expenses. She announced plans for a comprehensive new secretariat, ensuring every department has adequate facilities.
The Chief Minister also attended a seminar on sustainable development, advocating for collaborative town planning and technological advancements such as biogas plants and smog towers. Highlighting a vision for a 'golden era' under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, she stressed ongoing infrastructural projects with significant investments aimed at improving Delhi's infrastructure and environment.
