The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has achieved another breakthrough in the chilling 2024 Jiribam killings case by arresting Lalrosang Hmar.
The apprehension of Hmar, known as Rosang from Moinathol village and Dilkhosh Grant of Cachar, Assam, occurred in Aizawl, Mizoram, marking the second significant arrest by NIA in two days.
This follows the earlier capture of Thanglienlal Hmar, suspected of complicity in the abduction and murder of three women and three children by militants in Manipur's Borobekra area, with bodies discarded in the Barak River. The investigation continues as NIA examines recovered mobile evidence for further leads.
