In a sharp rebuttal to Rahul Gandhi's allegations, Rohan Jaitley, DDCA chief, countered claims that his late father, Arun Jaitley, had threatened the Congress leader over farm laws. Rohan pointed out the chronological impossibility, reminding the public that Arun Jaitley died in 2019 and the farm laws were introduced in 2020.
In a post on social media platform X, Rohan Jaitley elaborated, "Rahul Gandhi now claims my late father, Arun Jaitley, threatened him over the farm laws. Let me remind him that my father passed away in 2019. Additionally, it was not my father's nature to threaten anyone over opposing views. He was committed to fostering dialogue and consensus."
Rohan called for prudence when discussing those who cannot defend themselves, recalling Rahul's similar past remarks regarding the late Manohar Parrikar. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi claimed the NDA government had dispatched Arun Jaitley to intimidate him during his opposition to the Modi government's farm laws.
