In a swift and significant move, Solan police have suspended four personnel following a viral video allegedly depicting them loading cases of liquor into a police escort vehicle assigned to the Chief Minister's convoy during his Chandigarh visit.

The footage, taken by a bystander, has fueled public outrage over the apparent misuse of official resources. Solan's Superintendent of Police, Gaurav Singh, confirmed the suspensions are pending detailed investigation.

Two suspended individuals are from the 6th India Reserve Battalion, and two are district police. With the state's ongoing anti-substance measures, this incident raises serious accountability questions.
