The 'Van Sobi 2.0' photography exhibition, hosted by Aaranyak, concluded successfully at Pranab Baruah Kalakshetra in the Nagaon district of Assam. This event, featuring over 45 exceptional photographs by 31 photographers nationwide, was aimed at celebrating 35 years of Aaranyak's efforts in biodiversity conservation.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Rupak Sarmah, MLA of Nagaon-Batardava, and Devasish Sharma, Nagaon District Commissioner, who praised Aaranyak's commitment to environmental stewardship. Their speeches emphasized the role of photography in highlighting the beauty and significance of the natural world.
A panel discussion on 'The Importance of Photography as a Medium for Nature Conservation and Awareness' and technical sessions led by wildlife photographer Udayan Borthakur, further reinforced photography's role in fostering nature appreciation. The event was a collaborative effort with Kallol, enhancing its cultural significance.
