Generali Group and the Central Bank of India have announced a new brand identity for their joint insurance venture. The rebranded entity, named Generali Central Life Insurance and Generali Central Insurance, symbolizes the unification of both companies to safeguard what matters most to their clients, such as family, health, and future.
This rebranding follows the Mumbai bank's acquisition of a 25.18% stake in the life insurance and a 24.91% stake in the general insurance sections as of June. The Generali Central initiative comprises a comprehensive overhaul, including new logos, typography, a website, and an updated social media strategy.
In August, the Central Bank of India was chosen as the successful bidder for the troubled Future Enterprises Ltd's assets. This move, approved by the Committee of Creditors, allows for the sale of Category 1 assets in both life and non-life insurance ventures previously held by FEL with Generali of Italy.
