India has criticized what it perceives as Western double standards, following U.S. President Donald Trump's renewed threats amidst India's rising Russian crude oil imports. EU sanctions have shrunk trade with Russia by 86% since 2022, yet Europe continues to buy essential goods, including oil and gas.
In contrast, India's imports from Moscow, particularly crude oil, have surged, while the U.S. has experienced a decline in its Russian imports, focusing on fertilizers and nuclear materials.
