The Uttarakhand government has undertaken a massive rescue operation in response to a devastating cloudburst in Dharali, where at least 190 individuals have been saved from dangerous conditions. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the combined efforts of state and central governments in providing immediate relief and support to the victims.

The Chief Minister described the extent of the disaster, stating that Dharali has been hit by severe debris fallout after the cloudburst. Army personnel are actively involved in the rescue mission, while injured residents are being transported to safer areas. The state administration is racing against time to restore essential services disrupted by landslides in the area.

Chief Minister Dhami, after visiting the site and conducting an aerial survey, emphasized the challenges posed by adverse weather in restoring electricity and mobile networks. He convened a disaster management meeting to strategize ongoing relief efforts, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the state's recovery initiatives.
