Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bihar and West Bengal on August 22, unveiling a series of ambitious infrastructure projects valued at approximately Rs 18,200 crore. In Bihar, Modi will lay the foundation stone and open multiple developments, including the Aunta-Simaria bridge on the River Ganga and the Bakhtiyarpur to Mokama road section, targeting improved connectivity and reduced congestion.

During his visit, Modi will also inaugurate the Buxar Thermal Power Plant, boosting energy capabilities, and the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Muzaffarpur, significantly enhancing regional healthcare access. Meanwhile, in West Bengal, the Prime Minister will flag off new metro services in Kolkata, part of initiatives aimed at reducing travel time and boosting urban connectivity.

Additionally, Modi will address public gatherings and oversee the Grih Pravesh ceremony for beneficiaries of the housing scheme, further emphasizing his commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth. These projects are anticipated to improve health standards, foster tourism, and enhance trade and connectivity within the two states.
