Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 222 development initiatives amounting to Rs 659 crore in Sambhal, focusing on preserving and revitalizing the region's religious and cultural legacy. Addressing a large gathering, Adityanath condemned historical transgressions and political adversaries, highlighting past injustices and future developmental goals.

Positioning Sambhal as a bastion of Hindu heritage, the Chief Minister condemned past aggressors and political parties like Congress and Samajwadi Party. He referenced historical pilgrimages devastated by invaders and pledged to rehabilitate these sites, drawing parallels with Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar's restoration of significant temples.

Adityanath stressed the religious significance of Sambhal, citing Puranic texts predicting it as the future site for Lord Kalki's incarnation.
