Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address a crucial issue affecting the state's agricultural sector. On Tuesday, Stalin urged Modi to ensure the complete delivery of allocated fertilisers, revealing that the state has received a mere 57% of its required supply so far.

Stalin, in a post on X, underscored the importance of timely fertiliser delivery to maintain the increased agricultural activity spurred by favorable monsoon conditions. Despite a rise in paddy farming, the state has not received its full fertiliser quota, he lamented.

The Chief Minister shared a letter to the Prime Minister, illustrating Tamil Nadu's reliance on targeted, region-specific agricultural schemes. He noted the disparity between allocated and actual supplies, requesting the shortfall be addressed urgently to support the ongoing Kharif and upcoming Rabi cropping seasons.
