The foundation stone for India's first international-standard Ice Sports Arena was laid in Dwarka, New Delhi, on Tuesday, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday celebrations. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, accompanied by BJP MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, officiated the ceremony, hailing PM Modi for his ongoing support in promoting sports nationwide.
The arena, positioned at the Sports Complex in Dwarka Sector 23, aims to foster sports development across the country, offering Olympic-level facilities and training. MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat expressed gratitude towards the Lieutenant Governor and the Central Government for their pivotal role in this initiative.
In celebrating PM Modi's birthday, the BJP will screen the National Award-winning film 'Chalo Jeete Hai' across all 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar, highlighting Swami Vivekananda's philosophy. The initiative 'Chalo Jeete Hain: Seva Ka Sanman' will honor everyday contributors, inspiring students to embrace a life of service, supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
