Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extolled the Seva Pakhwada initiative, emphasizing its positive impact, during a public gathering in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Over the past three days, more than one lakh people participated in blood donation camps across the state, and 30,000 health camps were set up as part of the campaign.
Speaking about the ongoing celebrations from Vishwakarma Jayanti to Gandhi Jayanti, PM Modi highlighted the numerous programs undertaken under Seva Pakhwada. He noted the significance of the involvement of lakhs in cleanliness drives in various cities and reiterated the focus on women's health during these events. Acknowledging birthday greetings, Modi expressed gratitude for the well-wishes received from around the globe, deeming them a source of strength.
Launched by the BJP, Seva Pakhwada is a 15-day nationwide campaign marking PM Modi's birthday, focusing on blood donation, cleanliness, and showcasing government achievements. Earlier, he inaugurated projects exceeding ₹34,200 crore at the Bhavnagar 'Samudra se Samriddhi' event, highlighting Bhavnagar's central role in India's maritime prosperity vision.
