Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday accused the central government of neglecting the state, voicing concerns over alleged hostility when seeking cooperation. Speaking at the launch of the Vikasana Sadas, which showcases Kerala's developmental milestones and seeks community input, Vijayan expressed determination to secure rightful cooperation.
The Chief Minister emphasized Kerala's significant progress, such as achieving the lowest infant mortality rate, outperforming even the United States. Infrastructure projects, including national highways and waterways, are on track for completion, reflecting the state's advancement despite challenges.
Vijayan underlined the importance of public involvement in development, stating that Vikasana Sadas serves as a platform for local bodies to demonstrate progress and gather future growth proposals. He stressed non-partisan collaboration, asserting that development transcends political lines, aligning local, state, and national growth.
