Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a stark warning to Pakistan on Thursday, emphasizing that any aggressive actions in the contested Sir Creek area will be met with a powerful response that could reshape the region's historical and geographical narrative. His statement came during a multi-agency capability exercise and Shastra Poojan ceremony at the Lakki Nala Military Garrison in Kutch, which coincided with the Vijayadashami celebration.

Singh underscored India's attempts to peacefully settle the border dispute through dialogue, lamenting Pakistan's ambiguous motives and recent military enhancements in the area. He assured that the Indian Army and the Border Security Force remain vigilant in guarding the borders. Addressing soldiers, Singh reiterated India's resolve to protect its territorial integrity, referencing India's readiness to respond to any provocations from Pakistan.

Highlighting past operations, Singh reflected on Operation Sindoor, where Indian forces successfully countered threats to national sovereignty, validating India's military capabilities. He reaffirmed India's commitment to combating terrorism while exercising restraint in its military endeavors. Singh further expressed confidence in India's ability to achieve military objectives without escalating conflicts unnecessarily. During the Shastra Poojan, Singh linked India's military prowess to its historical commitment to righteousness, citing epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata as examples of wars fought for justice, not mere conquests.
