In a heart-wrenching case, authorities discovered the body of a seven-year-old girl in a water tank under the Madannapet police station's jurisdiction in Hyderabad. The young girl, who was reported missing on Tuesday, was reportedly visiting her grandmother with her mother when she disappeared. Police have registered a case and transferred the deceased to a hospital for a post-mortem examination as investigations continue into the tragic event.

Meanwhile, a separate incident in Hyderabad has drawn significant attention. A student was allegedly attacked by a group at a Dandiya event hosted at a hotel under the Panjagutta police station limits. The young man, identified as Nehan Ali Khan, was assaulted after revealing his name, suggesting that communal tensions may have been a factor in the attack.

According to an FIR filed based on Khan's complaint, the attackers included individuals named Laxman, Deepak, Bharath, and Chandra Kanth. The incident, which occurred at The Park Hotel near Raj Bhavan Chilla, has prompted calls for tighter event security and checks on attendees. Police have launched an investigation into this case as well, reflecting broader concerns regarding communal harmony in the area.
