In the wake of devastating floods in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde announced that the party would lead relief efforts for afflicted farmers. Addressing reporters in Mumbai, Shinde assured that Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's latest initiative aims to support farmers facing difficulties, including those with imminent family weddings, ensuring necessary support.

During the annual Dussehra rally, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde reiterated the party's commitment to supporting distressed farmers and preserving Balasaheb Thackeray's legacy. The event celebrates the triumph of good over evil, coinciding with Navratri. Shinde urged party workers to prioritize aiding flood-stricken farmers, whom he empathetically referred to as 'Baliraja.'"

Deputy CM Shinde, citing deep concern for the affected farmers, promised state-backed assistance before Diwali. He discouraged extreme actions by farmers, promising tangible support while airing footage of the destruction and Shiv Sena's relief work. Highlighting dedication to Balasaheb's teachings, Eknath Shinde praised PM Modi's integrity, contrasting with past political scandals, and urged party readiness for future electoral challenges.
