In a strategic political move, the BRS party convened a meeting at the Medchal district office, spearheaded by District President and MLC Shambhipur Raju. This gathering followed the directive from BRS Working President KTR to initiate the 'Due Card Movement' in Medchal, aiming to inform the public about the Congress government's unmet promises.
The meeting witnessed participation from prominent figures including former minister Malla Reddy, multiple MLAs, and the Malkajgiri MP candidate. These leaders united in denouncing the Congress's alleged deception, highlighting what they called 420 unfulfilled election promises, while pledging to use the 'Due Card' as a tool for public awareness.
Concurrently, KTR voiced strong opposition to the recent ₹10 increase in Hyderabad's city bus fares, implemented on October 6. Criticizing it as a 'cruel conspiracy' against economically weaker sections, KTR questioned how middle-class and poor commuters, already grappling with rising living costs, would bear this additional financial strain.
