Arvind Kejriwal, head of the Aam Aadmi Party, met with Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister MK Stalin, commending his administration's advancements in education, healthcare, and women's empowerment. On social media, Kejriwal emphasized the shared governance priorities between the two leaders and highlighted the transformative achievements in Tamil Nadu.
Kejriwal expressed his honor in meeting CM Stalin and noted their common visions concerning key sectors. His visit is prominent as he plans to support Stalin and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) during campaign rallies scheduled for April 20 and 21. AAP has decided not to field candidates for the Assembly elections, opting to back the Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) instead.
Meanwhile, CM Stalin is diligently campaigning across Tamil Nadu, with his recent engagement in Chennai's Anna Nagar and a house-to-house campaign in multiple constituencies, including Hosur and Mylapore. Concurrently, the AIADMK-BJP alliance is making a strong push, with senior leaders like PM Modi and Amit Shah leading efforts. The contested race includes a potentially impactful new party, TVK, led by actor Vijay marking his political entry.
