On Thursday, Azad Engineering officially opened a cutting-edge 7,600 square meter lean manufacturing facility in Tunikibollaram, Hyderabad. Aimed at fortifying the global supply chain of energy technology giant Baker Hughes, this high-tech infrastructure is strategically integrated with Azad's established Centre of Excellence and Innovation Centre ecosystem.
This marks Azad Engineering's fourth major facility, emphasizing their ongoing efforts to expand capabilities amidst increasing global demand. The new facility underscores a continuing partnership with Baker Hughes, which began eight years ago with the supply of critical components for gas and steam turbines.
Telangana's precision engineering sector is thriving, thanks partly to the state's progressive industrial policies. The region has seen a 30% growth year-on-year, complemented by substantial export rate increases. Industry leaders like Baker Hughes and Azad Engineering exemplify successful collaboration models fueling this growth, according to Telangana Minister for Industries and IT, D Sridhar Babu.
