The Indian Air Force (IAF) has unequivocally denied reports of an aircraft crash near Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir, labeling such claims as unfounded. In a clear statement, the IAF urged media outlets and social media users to rely on official channels for verification before dissemination.

Concurrently, the IAF conducted 'Emergency Landing Facility' (ELF) exercises on the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur District, testing its operational readiness. An official release highlights the event as a showcase of IAF's ability to execute emergency landings both during the day and at night, bolstering national defense capabilities.

This operational display featured a diverse array of aircraft, and representatives including state ministers and air force officials were in attendance. The maneuvers underscore the IAF's preparedness to adapt rapidly to exigent scenarios, enhancing security and disaster response infrastructure on strategically significant expressways.
